The hotel is ideally located at the south-west edge of the Mandalay Fort, opposite the Mandaly Royal Palace and facing Mandalay Hill, about 5 minutes drive from downtown. Practically next door to the Sedona hotel. Business and commercial district is 3 minutes away by car and the Mandalay airport is within 10 minutes drive. Most of the standard rooms surround the swimming pool and have views of that and the gardens, forming a peaceful courtyard. Rooms are medium in size and nicely appointed for hotel of this standard with tasteful modern fabrics and colors. Bathrooms are of moderate size and are in good condition. Facilities: there are pleasant swimming pool shaded by palms, gymnasium and tennis available. In a separate building is 'Kim's' bar and karaoke. 'Kiplings' is the lobby lounge bar.
