This hotel is part backpackers but the rooms are excellent for budget accommodation, could be noisy when busy. Very central location. The Cavenagh offers the best budget accommodation in central Darwin. Located in the heart of the city, The Cavenagh is minutes away from Smith Street Mall, State Square and the city's main shopping and nightclub precinct. For budget accommodation you are in for a suprise. The rooms have recently been refurbished and look funky and modern, many with flat screen TV's. The rooms are medium in sized and generally in a good condition. Some rooms feature a skylight with no wall window.
